The rules — short version.

Who can use Proof

You must be 18 or older to create an account. One account per person. Employer and university accounts represent the organisation they sign up under and must be operated by an authorised individual.

Truthfulness pledge

When you submit proof to a challenge, you confirm that:

• Everything in the submission is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• You consent to Proof verifying any claim you've made — links, references, employer sign-off, artifact provenance.
• You consent to this submission and your profile being shared with the employer partner running the specific challenge.
• You understand that false or misrepresented claims may result in disqualification and removal from Proof.

Verification can include automated link checks (e.g. Firecrawl on deployed URLs), reference outreach, and panel review.

Your IP, our license

You own the work you submit. By submitting, you grant Proof a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, store, and reproduce the artifact and reflection answers for the purpose of: (a) showing them to the employer running that challenge, (b) computing and displaying your AIQ / AJIR scores, and (c) maintaining and improving the platform. You can revoke this license at any time by deleting the submission or your account.

Employer obligations

Employer partners agree to use submission data solely for evaluating candidates for the specific challenge they posted. Cross-challenge use, resale, training of unrelated AI models, or external publication of a candidate's submission without that candidate's written consent is prohibited and will result in account termination.

Prohibited conduct

• Submitting work that is not yours, or that materially misrepresents what you built.
• Creating multiple accounts to apply to the same challenge.
• Attempting to bypass scoring, verification, or rate limits.
• Scraping, reselling, or republishing other users' submissions.
• Any unlawful, harassing, or fraudulent activity.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by emailing privacy@proofaiq.com.

Disclaimers & liability

Proof is provided "as is" without warranty. We don't guarantee that submitting proof will result in a job offer. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Proof's liability is limited to fees paid in the previous 12 months (which, for builders, is typically zero).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction Proof is incorporated in. Disputes are resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless local consumer protection law requires otherwise.
